    The Mini 16MP Camera output displays some strange color artifacts as shown on the attached screenshot (the image should be mostly gray without those artifacts), and the terminal shows multiple error messages: “ERROR IPARPI cam_helper.cpp:180 Embedded data buffer parsing failed”.

    None. I also got the autofocus and NOIR versions and they work fine without those artifacts or error messages.

  8. What help do you need?
    This Mini 16MP camera is unusable. Is there a software fix or is it defective hardware?

What about Raspian Buster when installing the driver following instructions from: 16MP Autofocus & Raspbian Buster --> **no camera available** , is there also an “imx519_kernel_driver_low_speed” option in that case?

The latest version of Buster is no longer supported, we recommend using bullseye.

The Mini camera works fine when using PiOS BullEye and the imx519_kernel_driver_low_speed driver. Thank you.
