Hello!
I bought an “Arducam Complete High Quality Camera Bundle for Jetson Nano” kit hoping it would be valid for the Xavier NX, but it looks like the drivers available in https://github.com/ArduCAM/MIPI_Camera/tree/master/Jetson/Jetvariety/driver do not include the kernel the NX is using. I am getting this error when trying to install the driver for tegra revision 4.2:
dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of arducam-nvidia-l4t-kernel:
arducam-nvidia-l4t-kernel depends on nvidia-l4t-kernel (= 4.9.140-tegra-32.4.2-20200428140713); however:
Version of nvidia-l4t-kernel on system is 4.9.140-tegra-32.4.2-20200428141701.
dpkg: error processing package arducam-nvidia-l4t-kernel (–install):
dependency problems - leaving unconfigured
Errors were encountered while processing:
arducam-nvidia-l4t-kernel
Is there any solution available or plans to build a driver for this kernel version? Thank you very much in advance!
I am interested in this answer. I also have an Xavier NX and I am looking for a comprehensive camera solution.

Please be patient. We will do our best to provide solutions to customers
Thank you very much. I appreciate you are working on this.
Please let us know when you have a driver prototype. I’ll be glad to beta-test if it is helpful
Hi Everyone,
I saw that the driver was available for the Jetson Xavier NX (https://github.com/ArduCAM/MIPI_Camera/tree/master/Jetson/Jetvariety/driver ).
So I tested it with my AR1820HS and my IMX1335 !
But this is the picture I have :
I also have changed the pixelformat (pixelformat(“BA10”)), but I can’t have a correct photo. Any idea ? Is it because of the driver ?
so is accurate that you are selling a camera without functional drivers
Just to let you know : My last test was with Jetpack 4.4 release 32.4.3 (my previous post #26028 ), and the pictures were not good.
Today I tested the other driver with Jetpack 4.4 release 32.4.2 : when trying to see the cameras (v4l2-ctl --list-devices), no camera is available (I tested AR1820HS and IMX135, after reboot and checked the wire connexions).
Are there any updates to the status of a driver for Xavier NX?
Thanks,
-Joe

When do you expect the drivers for B0220 and B0221 on the XAVIER NX to be available? B0223 is already available, right?

Hi everyone, I’m very sorry I missed this post.
Now the driver of Jetson Xavier NX can be installed through the automatic installation script:
https://github.com/ArduCAM/MIPI_Camera/releases/tag/v0.0.2
However, the automatic installation script only supports L4T32.4.3 and above.

Hi @DrH
B0220 and B0221 and can be used in L4T32.4.4 version.
B0223 can be used in all versions provided.

Hi @pelepicier
Sorry again for the late reply,
Can you tell me what software you use to play it?
Can you try the example program we provide?

Hello Wong,
I am using B0267 and Jetson Xavier NX, here there is a description of my issue:
I am using B0267
Platform: Jetson Xavier NX
I am following this instructions: Camarray – Arducam 1MP Quadrascopic Camera Bundle Kit
The product worked on Raspberry Pi 3 and cable connections are OK.
The problem:
I am trying to use the quadrascopic camera bundle OV9281 with a Jetson Xavier NX development kit.
My sytem is R32 4.4 and my kernel is 4.9.140-tegra-32.4.4-2020102721332
I used this driver: https://github.com/ArduCAM/MIPI_Camera/releases/download/v0.0.1-nx/arducam-nvidia-l4t-kernel_4.9.140-32.4.4-20201027211332_arm64.deb
I am able to see /dev/video0 but no image is displayed.
My kernel boot log is:
[ 2.009968] arducam-csi2 9-000c: firmware version: 3
[ 2.010238] arducam-csi2 9-000c: Sensor ID: 0x0000

[ 2.065440] arducam-csi2 10-000c: probe failed

Could you please provide me some instructions/advises?

Hi @jeslava
From the boot log, the driver has correctly identified the camera.
Can you run the dmesg command after running the camera and send the output to me?
Also attach photos of your hardware connection.

I’ve installed the Jetson Xavier NX driver, but the camera doesn’t seem to be detected. It doesn’t appear in /dev/video*.
I’m using, arducam-nvidia-l4t-kernel_4.9.140-32.4.4-20201026143033_arm64.deb
The camera is a B0274, and I can hear the mechanical IR filter activating when I block the photosensor.
Here’s my dmesg (similar to jeslava’s):
