Waterproof low latency camera compatible with esp32 or similar low cost boards

I am looking for a waterproof (outdoor) camera that can achieve 30fps (latency less than 30ms) at 640x480 or 320x240 for an agricultural application that is compatible with ESP32 or similar low cost boards.

Do you think is better to use ESP32-CAM board with a waterproof case like this : Waterproof Case Underwater Housing Shell for SJCAM SJ4000 SJ 4000 Sport Cam For SJCAM Action Camera Accessories - AliExpress 44

Or is it better to use an FPV camera with ESP32?

Thanks for your time and you can of course suggest me another board or another way to achieve this.

Very interesting Question, but tbh, that’s just not possible, 30fps means that the time between frames is 33.3ms so you can’t go lower than this number.

Low latency is also something I would be impressed to see on any mcu, there is just not the processing power to do such things. Lowest thing I’ve seen on any MCU was 200ms, and this means highly optimising the code and hardware to fit.

If it goes to a FPV camera, none will work on a mcu, nor on something other then their exact hardware they are developed for.

Going into the lower then 30ms time, currently means going with 120fps and you’re looking into FPGA territory, currently nothing in the marked can do this out of the box.

If you want to do sub 30ms you can buy a hdzero set, this may achieve it. But there you also need to use their goggles, or buy professional grade monitors with low latency input.
