Use external trigger on ov9281

I followed the instruction from Access Global Shutter Camera using external trigger snapshot mode - Arducam Wiki . However when I run v4l2-ctl -d /dev/v4l-subdev0 -c trigger_mode=1, I got unknown control ‘trigger_mode’. In above wiki, it notes you will need to install a special version of libcamera … sudo dpkg -i libcamera0_0~git20230512+f155393c-1_armhf.deb . But this is a 32bit package, I am using 64bit OS.

@chobitsfan

Could you tell me the SKU number of the camera?

And please show me all your control information.

Sorry, although your camera is a global shutter camera, there is no driver to support the external trigger function.

I found that the product page did not specify which cameras support the external trigger function, which would lead to a lot of misunderstandings. I’ll let them correct this part.

Thank you for very useful info

@chobitsfan

The camera I drew a red frame in the picture below is supported.

Is there no OV9281 sensor module that supports external triggering? Not even the B0165? I really need to use this sensor due to its ability to stream 8bit RAW video, hence low latency.
