Two different kinds of Raspberry Pi 2018 HQ Camera V1.0

Hi ArduCam,
For quite some time now (years) we have been using the Raspberry Pi HQ Camera together with the Jetson Xavier NX production module (meaning that we remove “R8”).
We have a focus-setup (running on a Xavier NX), and recently we encountered a problem: it seems like we have two different “versions” (production series?) on stock of the HQ camera (see below picture):

The one to the right with the “white QR code” is the “normal” version that we have been using and which works well. The one to the left without the “white QR code” doesn’t work (out of the box) on our focus-rig, event though the device is detected by the Xavier NX (v4l2-ctl --list-devices). We use Argus from the Jetson Multimedia API to stream from the camera.

So the question is now: how to we enable video streaming from the camera to the left? Is it a simple setting that needs to be configured? Or is it something else that we need to do?
We have a number of these “non-functional” cameras on stock, so we need to figure out how to make them work as the others.

Thanks.

Hi,
Though we want to provide helpful advice, you are using the Raspberry Pi HQ camera modules instead of Arducam’s. How about posting the problem on their forum and engineers from RPI will be willing to give you some bright suggestions I think.

@Dion Apologies - my bad :-/ Of cause I should have (and will) post the question to the Raspberry Pi forum.
