How can I capture a small video?
I’m using this command and I obtain an empty file ora a video file with total green frames

gst-launch-1.0 nvv4l2camerasrc device=/dev/video0 num-buffers=180 ! nvvidconv ! 'video/x-raw,width=1920,height=1080' ! videoconvert ! 'video/x-raw' ! x264enc speed-preset=fast ! h264parse ! mp4mux ! filesink location=video.mp4

Hi,
Thank you for reaching out.
Please refer to the commands in the following link:

I managed to record videos by making changes to the pipeline and adapting it to my machine (nvv4l2h264enc is not present on Jetson Orin Nano :frowning: ).

Can’t I capture a 1920x1080x30fps video with this camera?

If I use camera mode 2 (1920x1080), the resulting image is a cropped part of the full image captured at 4656x3496, as if it were zoomed in, thus losing the FOV declared by this camera specifications.

SENSOR_ID=0 # 0 for CAM0 and 1 for CAM1 ports
FRAMERATE=30 # Framerate can go from 2 to 60 for 1920x1080 mode
gst-launch-1.0 -e nvarguscamerasrc sensor-id=$SENSOR_ID num-buffers=180 ! "video/x-raw(memory:NVMM),width=1920,height=1080,framerate=$FRAMERATE/1" ! nvvidconv ! video/x-raw, format=BGRx ! videoconvert ! video/x-raw, format=BGR ! videoconvert ! video/x-raw,format=I420 ! x264enc ! h264parse ! mp4mux ! filesink location=rpi_v3_imx477_cam_1080.mp4
