Hello

Currently, we are looking to replace a dual IMX219 sensor setup with a single IMX477 setup (with a 130 degree lens). This gives us higher resolution images with a bigger field of view with a single sensor. This makes overall inference times significantly better while also improving the resolution.
The new setup is working as expected and we are very pleased by the product. However, we read in the datasheet about the DOL-HDR feature of this camera but could not find this functionality in the driver.
The available sensor modes in our DeepStream app are:

  • 4032 x 3040

  • 1920 x 1080

  • 1920 x 1440

  • 2028 x 1520

Are there any plans from your side to implement the DOL-HDR modes for 4:3 and 16:9 resolutions? If this would be the case, do you have a timeline in place for this functionality that you could share with me?
Having these sensor modes would make the decision for making the switch to the IMX477 a lot easier and faster in management.

PS DOL-HDR for one single platform would already be a great help.

Kind regards

Sorry for the late reply,
Unfortunately, although the IMX477 sensor has HDR related functions, we are not very familiar with Jetson’s ISP (we have no technical support from NVIDIA), so we can’t be sure about the Jetson ISP’s support for DOL-HDR functions, even if it does, we not sure that the information we currently have is enough for us to adapt it.
