IMX390 not showing user control in linux

I bought 2 IMX390 USB3.

I cannot acces v4l2 User control on linux. I am able to change config on potplayer on windows but nothing on linux.

v4l2-ctl -d /dev/video2 -L → Return nothing
guvcview or qv4l2 doesn’t show any user option.

Hi,
Please run the command v4l2-ctl --list-devices first. Then you can find the video node of your UVC camera.

I selected the right device (dev/video4 and 5)
And for the controls I still got nothing. With other camera it works.

Hi @spikyknox
Could you post the output of the command v4l2-ctl --list-devices here?

( They are now on /dev/video2 but still nothing with v4l2-ctl -d /dev/video2 -l)

Hi,
How about the output of the command v4l2-ctl -d /dev/video2 -l

It’s return nothing ( Tested on multiple linux computer x86 and arm)

Hi @spikyknox
Oh, sorry for the misleading. I checked with the engineer who is responsible for UVC 3.0 modules and he told me that we have closed all the controls for this IMX390 UVC 3.0 module for now. I’m curios about how you changed the config on Potplayer. I could not reproduce it yesterday on our side, see the screenshot below:
