Hi,

I’m trying to setup a stream from my Raspberry PI 3 (buster) using this UVC camera. I got the stream to work using uv4l. This gets me a mjpg and h264 stream. I can’t get any control over the camera so it is not working in low light like advertised.

How can I expose and change the settings like the frame rate, saturation, brightness, exposure ect from the raspberry pi without using VLC? v4l2-ctl doesn’t work, uvcdynctrl doesn’t seem to expose any options.

I realized I can’t change settings while viewing the stream in a browser.

I can change the resolution using

fswebcam -d v4l2:/dev/video0 -i 0 -r 1280x729 --list-controls

Again, no controls come up as available controls.

v4l2-ctl --list-ctrls should output a list of available controls and does not. Something is missing.
