I am looking for a camera that will monitor fruitfly growth and development through a glass pane. I’m struggling to find suitable cameras and lenses and since I have never done photography before its a bit confusing. If anyone has suggestions, that would be most helpful. The field of view is at least 90 degrees, at which the minimum focusing distance or MOD must be less than 2 inches. The framerate would ideally be around 100fps, 90fps is acceptable though. The camera must be IR sensitive and have at least 8 megapixels, but the more the better. It should also not have fixed focus, programmable and manual is preferred. Budget is not an issue.
