B0335 Arducam ov9782 will work for jetson orin nano in jetpack 6 or 7

Hi Arducam,

I have B0335 (OV9782, 1280×800, global shutter, 2-lane MIPI CSI-2) and a Jetson Orin Nano + Seeed J401.

  1. Will the exact B0335 work directly through MIPI CSI-2 on JetPack 6 (L4T 36.4/36.5)?
  2. Can it run at 1280×800 @ 120 FPS?
  3. Is the B0335 supported on JetPack 7.2 / L4T 39.2?
  4. If supported, please provide the exact driver/device-tree package.

I saw your JetPack 7.2 driver-status post recommending JetPack 6 for immediate Arducam camera support, so I want to confirm compatibility specifically for B0335, not another OV9782 model.

Hi,

The B0335 is designed for the OpenAI platform rather than NVIDIA Jetson platforms, so it is not directly compatible with the Jetson Orin Nano + Seeed J401 setup.

This is a platform compatibility limitation, not a JetPack version issue. In other words, changing between JetPack 6 and JetPack 7 will not make the B0335 work directly on Jetson.

Because of this, we do not have a Jetson driver/device-tree package for the B0335, and we cannot confirm 1280×800 @ 120 FPS operation on Jetson for this model.
