Asking again: What external trigger voltage is accepted for the Arducam 2MP OV2311 Global Shutter for NVIDIA® Jetson Nano?

  1. Where did you get the camera module(s)?
    uctronics
  2. Model number of the product(s)?
    SKU B0221
  3. What hardware/platform were you working on?
    Jetson Nano
  4. My question:
What is the external trigger voltage required to use this camera module in external trigger mode? Is it 1.8v or 3.3v? Under the Nvidia Jetson camera documentation, Arducam states that it is 3.3v into the FSIN pin. My camera module has an XVS pin, not an FSIN pin. There is no reference to a XVS pin under the Nvidia Jetson camera documentation, so I had to check for references elsewhere. Within the Raspberry Pi camera documentation for the use of the external trigger, Arducam states that it accepts an external trigger voltage of 1.8v for the XVS pin. Should I shift the 3.3v GPIO signal from the Jetson Nano down to 1.8v?

Hi,
The suggested voltage is 1.8v, but it also does not matter with 3.3v. You do not need to shift 3.3v GPIO form the Jetson Nano down to 1.8V.
