ArduCAM Host app error "COM open fail!". Checked cable connection, it's secure, what else can I do?

    Checked wire connection, code (used the example), reinstalled the ArduCAM library and arduino IDE, rewired the camera to arduino.

I had the same issue, what fixed it was closing the Arduino IDE because it uses the UART bus, thus preventing the ArduCAM Host app opening the COM.
