Arducam 16mp - disable autofocus!

Hey folks,

I’m experiencing and testing the arducam 16mp with autofocus feature and so far it’s great. However, I would like to ask you if it’s possible to deactivate the autofocus in every picture. See, I’m starting a timelapse project where I will be taking pictures for several months in a steady place with this camera. The problem that I’m encountering so far is that, if I have a picture where I got this subject in the foreground in 1 frame, it will re-focus to that distance. I want to solve this by focusing to the infinite with this:

v4l2-ctl -d /dev/v4l-subdev1 -c focus_absolute=411

Once I have done that, there is no need to use the focus again, ever. So my question is: it is possible to disable the focus, so it doesn’t try to focus every time it takes a picture? also that mess my timelapse with little bot noticeable “focus breathing”.

thank you!
Chris
