6.What problems are you experiencing?
Hi ArduCAM Team,

Β

I bought 5 AR1820HS camera on UCtronics for a current project.

I followed in detail all the instruction of this page :

https://github.com/ArduCAM/MIPI_Camera/tree/master/RPI

Β

everything is fine, until this error message :

β€˜β€™β€™

mmal: Failed to start sensor.
mmal: Failed to enable camera

β€˜β€™β€™

I have already increased the memory for the GPU at 360 M, it doesn’t help.

thank you so much in advance for your help.

7.What attempts at troubleshooting have you already made?
increase of GPU Mem
8.How would you like us to help you?
provide me simple instructions that are working, indications what else to try, which tests to make to have more infos etc…

Hi,

Β

I’m always stuck, exactly at the same point,

Is there any support yet on this forum ? tanks in advance for your help, suggestions.

Β

Best Regards

Guess it’s a bit late… but I just got mine working!
I have the one that comes with a UC-667 board in between the camera module and RP (link here Arducam 18MP AR1820HS camera module for Raspberry Pi Pivariety), and I had to follow these instructions (link here How to install and build Raspberry Pi Kernel Driver for Arducam Pivariety Camera) for Pivariety, NOT MIPI_Camera. There’s a link at the bottom of that page for a DOC that I followed after installing Pivariety etc.
I kept trying to get MIPI_Camera to work to no avail before contacting support for their instructions… it was a mess. I know you may have already solved this, but at least this may help someone in the future!
