64mp Hawkeye Sensor Not working with Raspberry Pi 5 -

Just made a fresh install of rasbian desktop x64 on brand new raspberry pi 5.
I have an arducam 64mp sensor.
i’ve tried both sockets on the board
I’ve gotten it to the point of a positive dmesg saying it detects the camera
i used the standard arducam quickstart guide
i tried setting the autodetect to 0
Current config:

  • only change is dtoverlay=arducam-64mp
    Some logs below:
Please help me I have tried absolutely everything I can find online.

pi@ethan:~ $ sudo nano /boot/firmware/config.txt

Hi @Coler2499
Can you post the output of the following commands?

cat /boot/firmware/config.txt
uname -a
ls /dev/video0
dpkg -l | grep libcamera

Hi @Dion Thank you for your quick response. Here is the output:

I hope those outputs are helpful - thanks again !

Hi @Dion, is there any more outputs that would be helpful?

Hi,
We pushed the latest libcamera-apps to our GitHub last morning. Could you plz reinstall the libcamera software with the following commands again?

wget -O install_pivariety_pkgs.sh https://github.com/ArduCAM/Arducam-Pivariety-V4L2-Driver/releases/download/install_script/install_pivariety_pkgs.sh
chmod +x install_pivariety_pkgs.sh
./install_pivariety_pkgs.sh -p libcamera_dev
./install_pivariety_pkgs.sh -p libcamera_apps

@Dion

Thank you very much ! The new version worked perfectly
