Hi @mmoollllee
Sounds good.
We’ve been reviewing your advice and considering adding a new one with a wider FOV to the ezBOX series. Please stay tuned to our newsletter :))
Just wondering if these ezBOX models have some kind of power / standby control? Is it possible to keep them powered via usb but enable some kind of standby? We only need one image every few minutes…
So I finally came up with a servo-controlled focus system meant to drive an M12 lens on the B0449 camera.
I’ve tested several M12 lenses that I previously used on the B0272. I’m replacing the B0272 mainly because its magnetic focus mechanism is too wobbly for setups with even minimal vibrations.
I know the sensor sizes differ, but optically the combination with LN056, LN069 and LN033 look good on the B0449 in terms of distortion.
The only issue is the color tint. Images appear purple when using these lenses on the B0449.
I’m wondering if this is something that can be corrected in the tuning file (rpi.awb), or if its a general mismatch in IR-cut characteristics?
Can Arducam help me figure out how to fix the color issue?
Or can you recommend other M12 lenses in the 100–140° FOV range that work well with the B0449 sensor?
