Problems you were having?
I cannot preview or capture images with either camera using Raspbian Bullseye. The switch to libcamera and Python 3 has broken sample code (e.g. https://github.com/ArduCAM/RaspberryPi/tree/master/Multi_Camera_Adapter/Multi_Adapter_Board_4Channel). Despite making changes to python code (originally written for Python 2) including updates to use libcamera I cannot switch cameras or capture images.
Note: I have been able to capture images with Raspbian Buster. So, hardware set up should be correct. I’d prefer to not run older version of the OS. I’d like to use

I have tried updating various /boot/config.txt parameters. Current settings I have:

I have enabled camera and i2c using raspi-config
I’ve confirmed camera is detected:

(from research on the web moving to libcamera detected=0 is expected; I could be wrong)
I’ve checked the adapter and cameras are detected on i2c bus:

I would like help determining the correct boot config parameters necessary to detect and set up adapter and cameras so I can take still pictures with both cameras. It would be helpful to have instructions and sample code that works with Raspbian Bullseye and an Raspi Model 4B.
