UB020201 IMX291 resolution at 640x480

I can not get a resolution Higher than 640x480 no matter what settings I set in the Motioneye software.

I’ve tried it on a Mac and get the full 1920x1080 so I know the camera is not faulty
even when I load into Raspberry Pi OS I still only get the lower resolution.

Any help in solving this issue would greatly appreciated.

Please be aware I’m quite new to all this so may not understand everything you may suggest.

AFAIK motioneye doesn’t use hardware acceleration and the pi can not do a lot more then 480p 30 in software

I do have another USB camera that shoots 1080p in Motioneye but the quality isn’t as good as this camera, maybe there is more compression from that camera.

i’d guess its using raw on the arducam camera and h264 on the other, but the log doesn’t say a lot
