Troubles in using camera in my Visual Studio project

  1. Where did you get the camera module(s)?
    Arducam website

  2. Model number of the product(s)?
    EK037

  3. What hardware/platform were you working on?
    Visual Studio 2019 (x64)

  4. Instructions you have followed. (link/manual/etc.)
    2MP Mira220 USB3 Evaluation Kit - Arducam Wiki

  5. Problems you were having?
I am having problems using Arducam API in my project

  6. Troubleshooting attempts you’ve made?
I downloaded this project to test my camera GitHub - ArduCAM/ArduCAM_USB_Camera_Shield_Cpp_Demo

Using this project, my camera runs just fine. So, I grabbed the .lib, .dll, .cpp and .h files needed and pasted them in my own project, I also adapted the project configurations (e.g.; the directories in the Linker). However, I open ArduCamlib.h and the functions have a green line underneath and appears that the functions are not being found. When I run my project, there are no errors during compiling, but then this message shows " Error capture image, rtn_val = 65318"

  1. What help do you need?
I want to understand what is missing in my project

some sort of linker issue

I created another project and the API is now recognized, but this error still occurs. I am using the same main as the demo project. As previously said, this error not occurs in the demo project, so I know the problem is not in the hardware
