Stereo setup with AR0234

I bought two AR0234 cameras and a Jetson Orin Nano board. I want to do stereo vision and thus need to connect the two cameras on the board. Is it possible to read two video streams from both CSI interfaces simultaneously or do I need a CamArray additionally?

Because the documentation says: Note: The cam0 port of NVIDIA Orin Nano board may have some conflict with Arducam Jetvariety cameras on JetPack 35.3.1 version. At present, you can use the camera on cam1 port.

Hi,
Where did you find this sentence on Arducam WIKI Doc?

I suggest you purchase this camera Kit directly.

Good idea. Do you think it possible to purchase the Arducam Camarray stereo camera HAT exclusively? I have already a lot of ar0234 cams at home.

Hi,
You can contact our sales team([email protected]) for further information. Little heads up that you cannot get the HAT board working with AR0234 camera modules(sold alone) without hardware modification.

thank you for the recommendation. I sent an e-mail already to the sales.
I have another question: The camera kit you sent me seems to only support two synchronized cameras. But I need at least three. Is that not possible with this kit?

Hi,
We offer two versions of the Camarray Kit: a dual-camera and a quad-camera configuration. Currently, the AR0234 model is available in our dual-camera setup. For applications requiring three or more cameras, we recommend our quad-camera solution:

Is that proposed quad-camera solution also compatible with Jetson Orin Nano - JetPack 6.X?

Hi,
Yes, B0331 can work with Jetson Orin Nano/NX on Jetpack 6.x.
For optimal performance and complete functionality, the official carrier board is a must.
