Raspberry Pi 4 RAM requirements for 64mp camera

Which R Pi do I need to buy? How much RAM is good for starting out?

If you want to shoot with maximum resolution, cma needs to be set to 512MB, which requires more than 1GB of memory. At present, we have tested Pi4B to meet the requirements. Although Pi3B has a version larger than 1GB, it cannot shoot with maximum resolution.

The Raspberry Pi 4 is a good choice for a 64MP camera, as it has enough processing power and features to handle the data from the camera. However, the amount of RAM you need will depend on your specific use case and how much processing you plan to do.

If you are just starting out with a 64MP camera, 2GB or 4GB of RAM should be sufficient. This will allow you to capture and save images from the camera without any issues. However, if you plan to do more processing on the images, such as image recognition or object detection, you may want to consider a model with more RAM, such as the 8GB model.
