Powering arducam tof camera b0410 through seperate supply

i want to use arducam tof camera on raspberry pi 5. But it need 5V supply. for some reason, i prefer to not use raspberry pi 5 5v pin to supply the camera. so is it possible to supply the camera from seperate supply ? let’s say from powerbank.

We used to power the ToF camera with a bench power, so that makes sense if you don’t want to use the Raspberry Pi 5V GPIO header.

It would be possible to use a power bank as long as you handle the connector type.

thank you for the answer. In this case, do i need to connect the GND of whatever seperate supply i use to power the camera (in my case, powerbank or dc buck converter) to raspberry pi 5 GND pin ?
