Playback Framerate Laggy with 16MP Camera

5. Problems you were having.

My videos have a laggy/choppy quality to them when I attempt to play them in VLC. I tried playing the same videos in Windows and they are still displaying the same way.

7. Troubleshooting attempts you’ve made.

I have attempted to record the videos in the following resolutions and FPS’s:

2560x720 at 37fps
2560x720 at 60fps
1280x720 at 37fps
1280x720 at 60 fps
640x240 at 60 fps

8. What help do you need?

I need to be able to record video at at least 1920x1080 at 30fps (ideally 60fps) without lag/choppiness.

I’ve been trying to fix this issue for over a week and I just need a little help. If anyone can shed some light on this I would sure appreciate it

I did experience frame drops or blurry screens when testing.
I also tested with their official camera and have the same problem, I think this is an official problem, I am asking the official raspberry pi.
