- Poor low light performance with over saturation
- I’m currently working on the 5.1.2 version of the Nvidia Jetson Orin Nano jetpack with the IMX477 camera module. Camera operating in linear mode. But during the day, the region surrounding the sun becomes saturated. I too have this video quality problem at night, when both the headlights of the cars and the streetlights are getting saturated.

- What help do you need?
- A solution to fix low light and over saturation. Right now, in our project we really experience a very low performance IMX477 regarding the over saturation. At this point we can’t believe the bad performance of the IMX477. Is it possible that we are using the wrong sensor? Is it possible that SDR is causing this problem? We have seen that with the arducam imx477 driver we can’t enable HDR mode. Have other people experienced the same bad performance of the imx477?
In the project we switched from IMX219 to IMX477 because the IMX219 had a very bad night performance. In our use case we record video out of a car. We have posted the same question to NVIDIA but haven’t received any helpful comments. Pixel oversaturation with the IMX477 - Jetson Orin Nano - NVIDIA Developer Forums
