Model number of the product(s)?
Pi Zero 2 W + Arducam V2.2 mux + IMX708 -
What hardware/platform were you working on?

Problems you were having?
Pi Zero 2 W + Arducam V2.2 mux + IMX708 (Camera Module 3): the camera not detected -
What help do you need?
Hardware:
-Pi Zero 2 W
-Arducam Multi Camera Adapter V2.2 (B012001)
-Camera Module 3 (IMX708)
OS:
-Raspberry Pi OS Bullseye Lite (32-bit)
-Kernel: 6.1.21-v7+
Working cases:
IMX708 directly connected → detected OK
IMX219 through mux → detected OK
Failing case:
IMX708 through mux →
Bash
libcamera-hello --list-cameras
No cameras available!
Config (mux test):
camera_auto_detect=0
dtoverlay=camera-mux-4port,cam0-imx708
Also tested:
dtoverlay=camera-mux-4port,cam0-imx708,cam1-imx708,cam2-imx708,cam3-imx708
Same result.
I2C check:
Bash
i2cdetect -y 1
0x70 (mux) present
dmesg (relevant):
gpio-mux mux-controller: 8-way mux-controller registered
i2c i2c-11: Added multiplexed i2c bus
platform video-mux: deferred probe pending
(no successful imx708 probe)
Conclusion:
Adapter wiring + GPIO + CSI path OK (IMX219 works)
IMX708 works directly
Failure is IMX708 via mux only
Questions:
Is IMX708 supported on V2.2 mux with Pi Zero 2 W?
Is there a required:
newer kernel / Bullseye build
Arducam driver or script
special overlay / init sequence
Is this a known limitation of V2.2 with IMX708?
If needed I can provide full logs, photos, and config.
