The kernel driver for the ov9281 provides exposure control but does not a control for manual triggering. Other Arducam modules provide the “trigger_mode” control. Is it possible to add this to the kernel driver? There is an example here but I’m using python for my application so is it possible to access the camera registers from python?

Hi,

I’m afraid not. There have not been any changes to the kernel module so the V4L2 trigger mode control is still not present.
