OV5642 1080p 30fps seems impossible

Recently I bought 2 OV5642 camera modules for FPGA image processing. But I cannot make it work well. I want to output 1080p 30fps (or at least 15fps) with raw data output. But I can only get around 7.5fps output, and the image is quite bad, the image is too bright, and not stable.

I followed the OV5642_1920x1080_RAW setting of this link
https://github.com/ArduCAM/Arduino/blob/master/ArduCAM/ov5642_regs.h

And every possible setting from this link and OV5642 application note, but still could not make it work properly. The image is very noisy, too bright and too slow.

Hi,

As far as I know, the configuration in the library you refer to is not complete. We have the most complete register recommended settings in this link:http://www.arducam.com/downloads/modules/OV5642/OV5642_camera_module_software_application_notes_1.1.pdf You can refer to the 1080P 30fps configuration for testing. If there are still problems, you can only seek support from the original OV factory.

You meant section 13.4.1 1080P setting?

I tried this but did not work. The output data format is not what I want, and it was not 30fps.

We currently do not have the configuration of the raw data that you mentioned up to 30fps.

If none of these configurations meet your requirements, you may need to seek help from the original OV manufacturer.
