Hi all, I’ve got a new Arducam ToF camera that I’m trying to use with a Raspberry Pi 4B. I’m working in the Arducam_tof_camera directory and running ./compile.sh. The project builds fully - the compilation completes with no errors - but once it finishes, no live preview shows up at all. I already looked through the troubleshooting info and didn’t find anything that matches. Here’s a screenshot of what I see after running the script: image0.jpeg
Thanks for posting. Looking at your description, the build itself is succeeding, so this appears to be an issue with the live preview / runtime display rather than a compilation error. We actually haven’t come across this exact symptom before, so we’d like to get a clearer look at what’s happening. Could you record a short video of the problem? Just run ./compile.sh in the Arducam_tof_camera directory and capture what happens on screen - we want to see whether the preview window opens and closes or never appears at all.
Sure, I can do that. I’ll get a video recorded tomorrow morning around 9:00 AM and post it here. For reference, my setup is just the Pi 4B with the ToF camera connected, and I’m running ./compile.sh from inside the Arducam_tof_camera folder. I’ll re-attach the screenshot too in case it didn’t come through properly: image0.jpeg.jpg
Sounds good, we’ll keep an eye out for the video. To recap what we know so far: the project builds fully, so the issue is with the live preview / runtime display rather than the compilation step. We haven’t seen this specific symptom before, so the video should help us see exactly where the preview is failing.
