No AF algorithm for imx519

Have you ever installed the libcamera of the Arducam version?

wget -O install_pivariety_pkgs.sh https://github.com/ArduCAM/Arducam-Pivariety-V4L2-Driver/releases/download/install_script/install_pivariety_pkgs.sh
chmod +x install_pivariety_pkgs.sh
./install_pivariety_pkgs.sh -p libcamera_dev
./install_pivariety_pkgs.sh -p libcamera_apps

Besides, if you still have the same error log like “no AF algorithm” after installing the libcamera, could you please post the output of the command below?

dpkg -l | grep libcamera

Hi @Razzbiz
It appears that you didn’t manage to install the Aruducam libcamera. See the screenshot below which shows the correct version.

Suggest that you run the commands below again.

./install_pivariety_pkgs.sh -l
./install_pivariety_pkgs.sh -p libcamera_dev
./install_pivariety_pkgs.sh -p libcamera_apps

Hi Dion, I have tried that approach many times without success.
I cant seem to add any kind of meaningful amount of text to this reply. Constantly getting error 403

Hi @Razzbiz
You can post it on Google Driver or Dropbox.

Hi,
Can you also post the output of the command below?

uname -a

Hi Dion,
This is the result of running uname -a

Linux PICAM-RIG1-A2 6.6.62+rpt-rpi-v8 #1 SMP PREEMPT Debian 1:6.6.62-1+rpt1 (2024-11-25) aarch64 GNU/Linux

Hi,
I still need the error logs when you install the Arducam libcamera.

./install_pivariety_pkgs.sh -l
./install_pivariety_pkgs.sh -p libcamera_dev
./install_pivariety_pkgs.sh -p libcamera_apps

Please attach them in the google drive or other file server.
