Need help running Arducam multi camera adapter v2.2 on Raspberry Pi OS Buster

Hi everyone, hoping someone can point me in the right direction. How can I run the Arducam Multi Camera Adapter v2.2 on Raspberry Pi OS Buster? I’ve got the adapter connected to my Pi but I’m not sure what drivers or setup steps are needed to get it working. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the details. Can you confirm the exact OS version you’re running? If you can run cat /etc/os-release and also uname -a that would help, since support for the multi camera adapter varies depending on the OS release.

Sure, I’m on Raspberry Pi OS Buster. The adapter is the Arducam Multi Camera Adapter v2.2. I haven’t been able to find clear setup instructions for this combination.

I looked into this combination for you. Unfortunately, the Arducam Multi Camera Adapter v2.2 is not supported on Buster OS. Support has confirmed that they do not provide support for using this adapter on Buster, and there are no technical setup instructions available for that OS version.

Just to summarize the current conclusion: Buster OS is not a supported operating system for the Arducam Multi Camera Adapter v2.2. If you want to use the adapter, you’d likely need to move to a supported OS version. There isn’t a workaround or set of steps I can give you for Buster itself.
