Need connector pinout for Arducam IMX219 M12 camera module (Raspberry Pi V2 replacement)

Hi everyone. We’re designing an automotive product around the Arducam IMX219 Low Distortion M12 Mount Camera Module (the drop-in replacement for the Raspberry Pi V2 camera). We’re stuck at the design stage because we can’t find the connector pinout for this module anywhere. Could someone share the connector pinout or schematic for it? To be clear, I’m looking for the connector pinout on the camera module itself, not the IMX219 image sensor pinout.

Hi, thanks for reaching out. For pin data, please refer to the IMX219 datasheet here: https://www.arducam.com/downloads/modules/RaspberryPi_camera/IMX219DS.PDF. It should have the pin information you need.

Thanks, but I already went through that datasheet. That document covers the IMX219 image sensor itself, not the connector on the camera module. I specifically need the actual connector pinout on the Arducam module, not the sensor-level pinout.

Got it, sorry for the confusion. Please check the following information - I’ve attached the connector pinout images for the module. Let me know if that’s what you were after.

Thanks, that resolved the design issue - the IMX219 camera is now functioning well in our setup. We do have a new requirement now though: we’re also looking at a V3 Link camera.

Great to hear the IMX219 is working. Could you clarify what you mean by ‘V3 Link camera’? Are you referring to camera version 3 (IMX708)?

Sorry for the ambiguity - we mean the FPD-Link III based cameras (V3LINK), like the ones shown on your FPD-Link 3 cameras page. We need the V3LINK camera modules, price details, and datasheets.

To add more detail, we’re actually looking for a complete V3 Link camera solution using the serializer and deserializer concept. Our target integration controller is the NVIDIA Nano. If you have details on that kind of setup, please share.

Thanks for the clarification. So you’re looking at the FPD-Link III camera line with serializer/deserializer support for the NVIDIA Nano, not the Raspberry Pi V3 camera. I’ve noted the requirement and will follow up with the module options, pricing, and datasheets for the V3LINK series. I’ll send the details over as soon as they’re confirmed.
