Need 2D/3D drawings to apply camera module to fixture

Hi everyone, I’m working on a mechanical fixture for a project and I need the 2D and 3D mechanical drawings for the camera module I purchased. I can’t seem to find them anywhere on the product page.

I’ve attached a photo of the module I have. It’s one of those small square OV5647-based cameras for Raspberry Pi. I need the dimensional drawings to properly design the mounting bracket — things like the board outline, mounting hole positions, connector placement, lens height, that kind of stuff.

Does anyone know where I can find these, or can support provide them?

Thanks for the photo — that helps narrow things down. Based on the image, what you’ve got there looks like one of two products:

  • B0033 — the standard 5MP Mini Camera with OV5647 sensor (visible light)
  • B003301 — the Arducam Infrared Mini Camera Noir variant (same OV5647 sensor, but IR-sensitive)

Can you confirm which one you ordered? The distinction matters for some specs, but mechanically they’re actually the same module form factor. Once you confirm, I can point you to the right drawings.

Thanks for the quick reply. I checked my order and I’m pretty sure it’s the standard B0033 (not the noir version). Definitely the regular visible-light one.

That said, I don’t mind which variant the drawings are for as long as the mechanical dimensions are identical — I just need accurate measurements for the fixture CAD. Are the mounting holes and board outline the same between both?

Yes, exactly — the B0033 and B003301 share the same mechanical dimensions. The only difference between them is the IR filter (the B003301 has no IR filter, making it sensitive to infrared). The PCB outline, mounting hole positions, connector placement, and overall form factor are identical since both use the same OV5647 sensor module package.
