Hi everyone. I’ve got an ArduCam B0432 which is the Pico4ML Pro TinyML Developer Kit. I’ve been following the docs at Pico4ML Pro TinyML Dev Kit - Arducam Wiki but a lot of the links for the main software seem to be missing. Specifically the 3x2 row of touch-screen icons and their associated programs. I also can’t find any source code or instructions for changing the WiFi access point used when taking pictures. The UI source code for the ‘Pro’ version isn’t clearly located either - I can see code for the currently shipping non-pro device but nothing clearly labelled for the Pro. On top of that, the thing works intermittently and feels pretty unstable. Any pointers would be appreciated.
Thanks for the details. Before I dig in, could you share what you’ve already tried? Which repos or examples have you looked through so far? That will help me narrow down where the Pro-specific code might live.
Sure. I found an older SPI camera repo at GitHub - ArduCAM/Pico4ML_AdapterBoard · GitHub but based on the examples in there, development appears to require a Raspberry Pi. I couldn’t find any reference to the ‘PRO’ dev kit with source code or examples at all. There are 4ML examples around, but nothing that explains how to access the display and the other features on the Pico4ML Pro. I’m really after links directly related to deploying software on the Pico4ML Pro TinyML Developer Kit.
Apologies - I think a previous reply may have pointed you in the wrong direction. The Pico4ML examples are actually in the Arducam_Mega repo under this path: Arducam_Mega/examples/Pico/pico4ml at main · ArduCAM/Arducam_Mega · GitHub - that’s the corrected reference you should be looking at.
Thanks. Just to be clear though - is the UI code for the ‘Pro’ version actually contained in that repository? I can see code for the currently shipping non-pro device, but I’m sifting through it trying to find the reference to the Pro version.
Take a look at the bootloader main.c - I think that’s the file you’re likely referring to: Arducam_Mega/examples/Pico/pico4ml/example/bootloader/main.c at main · ArduCAM/Arducam_Mega · GitHub If that’s not the one you meant, let me know and I’ll keep digging.
That’s the one, thanks! The bootloader main.c at Arducam_Mega/examples/Pico/pico4ml/example/bootloader/main.c at main · ArduCAM/Arducam_Mega · GitHub is exactly what I was looking for.
Great, glad that resolved it. So to recap - the Pico4ML examples live in the Arducam_Mega repo under examples/Pico/pico4ml, and the bootloader main.c in that path contains the UI code you were after. Let us know if you hit anything else while you’re working through the display and WiFi setup.
