Missing CSI-2 breakout adapter for Arducam B0492N camera set on Jetson Orin Dev Kit

Hey everyone,

I recently picked up the Arducam B0492N camera set and I’m trying to get it working with my AGX Jetson Orin Developer Board, but I’m running into issues.

The main problem: there seems to be an adapter card missing from the kit — the one that breaks out the two Jetson CSI-2 sockets into multiple 22-pin CSI-2 connectors (like 6 of them). I’ve highlighted the missing part in red here:

Without it I can’t properly connect the cameras. I’ve tried messing around with what I have and sometimes I get a signal, but it’s super intermittent and unstable — definitely not usable for anything serious.

Does anyone know if there’s another CSI-2 breakout card that would work for this? Or honestly, if there’s a different camera set out there with similar specs (around 3 µm pixel size, 2-4 MP range) that’s known to work well with the Jetson Orin, I’m open to suggestions. Just trying to get something functional at this point.

Appreciate any pointers!

Hi there,

Thanks for the detailed post and the picture — that helps a lot.

So the missing adapter you’re pointing at looks like it should be the B0473 board, which is specifically designed for the Jetson AGX Orin. You can find it here:

Did you happen to purchase this adapter separately, or was it supposed to come with your kit? If you do have it and it’s just not working or appears broken, could you share a couple photos of what yours looks like?

For reference, here’s a shot of my own working setup with the adapter in place:

The intermittent behavior you’re describing makes a lot of sense if the cameras aren’t going through a proper adapter — signal integrity goes out the window pretty quickly without the right breakout. Let’s figure out whether this is a missing-hardware situation or if there’s something else going on.
