Manually change focus on fixed focus camera?

I have an Arducam B0309 (aka Arducam 12MP IMX708 102°(H) Wide Angle Fixed Focus. It’s working fine, but I would like to be able to adjust the fixed focus. On some OEM Raspberry Pi cameras, it is possible to break a bit of glue keeping a manual focus ring in place and carefully rotate the focus ring manually. Is this possible with the Arducam B0309? I understand that doing this would be at my own risk and absolutely void the warranty. I just want to know if it is possible and how to do it.

Hi,
Same with the Raspberry Pi cameras. However, I think you need to melt a little bit of glue on the lens with a hair dry or heat gun. Besides, a focusing ring is also necessary. Otherwise, your nails will get to suffer

Ok, so just to be sure I understand you, I should be able to find a bit of glue or something holding a ring in place on the outside of the lens and I should be able to melt or break it?

Hi,
Yesss, go ahead.

Still worth doing this? The fixed-focus camera is a bit too blurry for close objects. Instructions anywhere or tips?
