Problems you were having?
I am experiencing an issue with white balance behavior in manual mode.
When using auto white balance, the image looks normal and the white color is correct.
However, when switching to manual white balance:
- At low temperature (2800K), the image appears bluish
- At high temperature (6500K), the image appears greenish
- At mid range (~4600K), the image appears cyan/greenish
I am unable to obtain a proper neutral white color in manual mode.
This issue has been observed on multiple models:
- B030401
- B044701
- B02901
For comparison, the previous model B0447 does not have this issue and produces correct white color in manual mode.

Troubleshooting attempts you’ve made?
- Tested using V4L2 controls in a Linux environment
- Verified that auto white balance works correctly
- Tried adjusting white_balance_temperature manually across the full range (2800~6500)
- Adjusted other parameters such as gain, gamma, and saturation
- Compared the behavior with the previous model (B0447) under the same conditions
However, manual white balance still does not produce correct color.
- What help do you need?
I would like to know:
- Whether this behavior is expected for these models
- If there is any recommended configuration for correct manual white balance
- If there is any firmware update or fix available for this issue
Since I need to use fixed (manual) settings in my application, this issue is critical for my evaluation.
If possible, I would appreciate a firmware update or guidance to resolve this issue as soon as possible.
