Libcamera no cameras available for AR0234

I recently purchased the Pivariety AR0234 2.3MP Color Global Shutter Camera Module and I cannot seem to get it to work. It is directly connected to my Raspberry Pi 4B 4GB. I have attempted both 32bit Lite and 64bit Lite and get stuck at the same point.

I followed https://forum.arducam.com/t/arducam-ar0234-error/2566 to install the proper drivers. However I always get no cameras available

Which makes no sense to me because the tutorial says that everything should be working. What am I missing?

@Techologyman00

Please use the command below

dpkg -l | grep libcamera

I did I got

[    7.588059] arducam-pivariety 10-000c: firmware version: 0x10003

I have a tool specifically designed to detect messages, please send me an email at [email protected] with a link to the forum.

I sent the email thank you for your help

Hi apologies it got it working somehow. I believe it doesn’t work in the Lite versions of RPI OS.
