Lens off center in case but camera works fine

Hi, I just received a 5MP camera module and noticed the lens is way off center in the case. The camera itself seems to work fine when I test it, but it just does not look quite right. Has anyone else seen this? Should I be concerned?

Thanks for posting. Could you upload a picture of the camera module? That will help me see exactly what you are dealing with before I give you more specific guidance.

Sure, here is a photo: DSC_0217.JPG. Like I said, it works fine when I test it, just the lens looks off center in the case.

Thanks for the photo. I can see the lens is sitting off center in the case. That is a cosmetic issue only, and it will not affect the functionality of the camera module. It looks like a minor cosmetic issue from the initial shipment. You can use the camera without any problems. If you do run into any actual performance issues with it, post back and we can dig into it.
