Hi everyone, I’m stuck with my Arducam B0429 on a Jetson Orin Nano. The board just doesn’t detect the camera at all. I followed the online documentation step by step, but no luck. I’ve already tried reinstalling the driver and I’ve tested both cam0 and cam1, and it still doesn’t show up. Honestly it’s never worked properly since I got it. Has anyone else run into this?
Thanks for the details. Before we go down the usual driver path, could you generate a bug report so we can see what the system is actually seeing? Please reboot the device first, then run these commands:
wget -O arducam-camera-bug-report-nvidia https://github.com/ketai-dhr/arducam-camera-bug-report/releases/download/tools/arducam-camera-bug-report-nvidia
chmod +x ./arducam-camera-bug-report-nvidia
sudo ./arducam-camera-bug-report-nvidia
This will create an arducam-bug-report.txt file in the current directory. Please share that file here so we can analyze the detection issue.
Okay, I ran those three commands. The tool downloaded and executed without any obvious errors, and it did generate the arducam-bug-report.txt file in the directory.
I’ve attached the arducam-bug-report.txt file from the tool. Hopefully that gives you something to go on.
Thanks, got the report. Before we dig into the software side, could you also share some pictures of the hardware connection? I’d like to verify the camera is physically connected correctly - especially the ribbon cable orientation and which connector it’s plugged into on the carrier board. That will help rule out a wiring/connection issue as the cause.
