IR Cut Camera Stuck In IR Mode

  1. Where did you get the camera module(s)?
    Temu

  2. Model number of the product(s)?
Not quite sure as I can’t find one

  3. What hardware/platform were you working on?
    Pi 4 with klipper installed

  4. Instructions you have followed. (link/manual/etc.)
Not many as not much available for this problem

  5. Problems you were having?
It seems to be permanently on ir mode. I tried adding disable_camera_led=1 to config.txt, rebooted, and it seemed to auto switch a couple times on boot up, and then stays in ir mode. Not sure if it’s a klipper issue, or a pi setting or what.
I reboot, it’s in non ir mode, I turn my lights off to trigger it, turn them back on, and it doesn’t change, gets stuck in IR mode.

  6. Troubleshooting attempts you’ve made?
Removed one IR light, rebooted, addud disable_camera_led=1

  7. What help do you need?
Figuring out why it gets stuck in IR mode

Hi,
I can not figure out what you mean, may you explain it more thoroughly? I have completely been confused by your description

So, the ir cut seems like it works. I’m using klipper for 3d printing. So I turn the pi on, it boots up, I can see the image on the dashboard, and it looks normal. I turn the lights off to trigger the ircut, it triggers, but then it stays like that. The ir filter won’t turn back off. Or the lights.
