IMX519 / 16MP Camera - Focus Control via picamera2 library?

I see multiple posts here about people not being able to control focus with the 16MP camera. I have the same problem.

I want to control the focus (manual/auto) and when in manual control the lens position.

Nothing seems to work. Is this still under development?

Can you please share working python code, use the picamera2 library on how to control the focus?
