Does IMX477 driver support 4032x3040 on Jetson Xavier NX Quark carrier?

Hi all, I’m trying to get an Arducam IMX477 High Quality camera module working on a Jetson Xavier NX dev kit. The catch is I’m using it with a Quark Carrier board from Connect Tech (Quark Carrier for NVIDIA® Jetson Xavier™ NX - Connect Tech Inc.), not the official dev board carrier. I’d like to use the Arducam driver to access the full 4032x3040 resolution. Does a driver already exist for this combo? Is there a simpler way to get the full resolution working without the driver? I’m happy to work with Arducam to get this setup going if that helps.

Thanks for the details. I checked, and we don’t have a Quark Carrier board available in house to test against or build compatibility for. Also, per our troubleshooting page (Troubleshooting - Arducam Wiki), the IMX477 driver is only supported on official development boards. Third-party carrier boards like the Quark aren’t on that supported list.

Right, I did see that troubleshooting page. So does that mean the driver basically won’t install on this carrier board? Is there any chance it could work anyway, or some manual way to bring up the full 4032x3040 resolution on the Quark board?

Unfortunately not with what we currently have. Since we don’t have the Quark board available, we can’t validate or create compatibility for it. The camera driver can’t be installed on that carrier board, and right now we don’t have a workaround that would unlock the full resolution on it.

Understood, thanks for confirming. So just to make sure I have it right: the IMX477 driver is only supported on official dev boards, the Quark Carrier isn’t supported, which means no driver install and no full 4032x3040 resolution on this board. Appreciate the quick reply.

That’s correct. Arducam supports the IMX477 driver on official development boards only. Third-party carrier boards such as the Quark Carrier are not supported for compatibility, so the driver can’t be installed there, and we don’t have a resolution for accessing the full 4032x3040 mode on that board at this time.
