Hi everyone, I’m trying to build the Jetson OS for my Xavier NX using the patch files Arducam sent for the B0331 1x4 Quadrascopic camera (OV9782). The build keeps failing with a bunch of compile errors. I’m on the latest JetPack 5.1.x. I’ve tried redoing the build a few times and the errors keep coming back. Is there a complete OS image or the full source with the drivers already applied that I can use for the Xavier NX?
Just to set expectations: if you’re on the official Nvidia carrier board, the driver should install on it. We don’t ship a complete OS image with the drivers already baked in for the Xavier. The support scope here is really for cases where the driver can’t be installed on the official dev kit. Can you try installing the camera driver on the official Nvidia developer kit first?
I keep hitting compile errors when compiling the driver. I’m using the B0331 with my Xavier NX. Could you just send me a zip of the modified source code instead?
Just bumping this - still getting the same compile errors during the build. Can I get the modified source code as a zip?
Before I can dig into the errors, can you clarify what platform you’re actually compiling on? Are you compiling directly on the Xavier NX, or on the Orin NX? That matters a lot here, because the errors may not even be reproducible depending on which hardware you’re building on.
I’m building on a Linux machine, not on the Jetson itself. I changed all the files from the patch and then tried building the image, and that’s when the error shows up.
That would explain it. The camera driver is only compatible with the official Nvidia carrier board. Compiling on a third-party board (or an unrelated Linux host) is expected to fail. Please compile the driver on the official Nvidia carrier board and it should go through.
To be clear, I am using the official Xavier NX dev kit. Not a third-party carrier board.

Yes, I started with those documentation steps for the Multi-Camera CamArray / JetVariety cameras first. When that didn’t work, that’s when I reached out to Arducam and got the patch file.
