Can't find CSI camera on Raspberry Pi 4 Model B

Struggling to get my Arducam camera recognized on a Raspberry Pi 4 Model B. The camera is a 64MP model (B0399B0091) connected over CSI, and the Pi just can’t find it — it’s never worked for me. I attached a screenshot of what I see and the arducam-camera-bug-report file I downloaded in case it helps. Not sure what else to try.

Let’s get a proper diagnostic report from the Pi. Can you reboot it first, then run these commands:

wget -O arducam-camera-bug-report https://github.com/ketai-dhr/arducam-camera-bug-report/releases/download/tools/arducam-camera-bug-report
chmod +x ./arducam-camera-bug-report
./arducam-camera-bug-report

Once it finishes, there should be an arducam-bug-report.txt file in the current directory. Please attach that .txt file here — that’s the one we need for analysis.

OK, I followed the download steps and I’m attaching the arducam-camera-bug-report file here. Hopefully that’s what you need.

Actually, the file you attached is the script itself, not the output. The script needs to be run on the Raspberry Pi. When you execute ./arducam-camera-bug-report, it generates an arducam-bug-report.txt in the current directory. Please run it on the Pi and attach the arducam-bug-report.txt file.

This is what I did on the Raspberry Pi following the steps you provided (這個是我照個您提供的步驟在樹梅派上做的). Attached a screenshot of the terminal.

Did the ./arducam-camera-bug-report command actually complete? If it ran successfully, it will have created arducam-bug-report.txt in the current directory. Could you check and attach that .txt file? The screenshot alone doesn’t give us the full report.

Is this the right file? I’m attaching arducam-bug-report.txt and a screenshot.

Yes, that’s the report. Looking at it, the problem is in the device tree overlay entries in your config. They’re currently using underscores:

dtoverlay=arducam_64mp
dtoverlay=arducam_64mp,cam0

They need hyphens instead:

dtoverlay=arducam-64mp
dtoverlay=arducam-64mp,cam0

That mismatch is why the camera isn’t found over CSI. Update those lines, reboot the Pi, then run your libcamera command again to see if you get an image.
