Sorry you’re hitting that. That message usually means the installer can’t find a matching deb package for the kernel your board is running. Could you post a few details so we can check?
Jetson model
JetPack / L4T version
Kernel version from uname -r
If you can also share the full installer output or error log, that would help.
The installer log basically just repeats the same error:
Cannot find the corresponding deb package, please send the following information to [email protected]
Kernel version: 5.10.192-tegra-35.5.0-20240613202628
Jetson type: Jetson AGX Orin Developer Kit
I also attached a screenshot of the error. I already tried reinstalling and it fails at the exact same spot.
Thanks, that’s helpful. I think I see the issue. Take a close look at the kernel string the installer is reporting:
5.10.192-tegra-35.5.0-20240613202628
The 35.5.0 part means the running kernel is actually L4T 35.5.0, not L4T 35.3.1 that ships with JetPack 5.1. So even though you listed JetPack 5.1 / L4T 35.3.1, the board appears to be booting a newer kernel/rootfs than the installer expects. Because of that mismatch, the installer can’t find a matching deb package for 35.5.0.
This is a known case covered in the Arducam troubleshooting guide under ‘Cannot install camera driver on Jetson Orin Nano NX and Jetson AGX Orin’. I’d start there.
Ah ok, that explains a lot. I did run updates on the board at some point, so the kernel version probably moved ahead. I’ll check that troubleshooting page. Do you have the exact link or section?
To summarize the current conclusion: the installer sees kernel 5.10.192-tegra-35.5.0-20240613202628 (which reflects L4T 35.5.0), and that doesn’t match the JetPack 5.1 / L4T 35.3.1 setup you mentioned, so no matching deb package is available. Follow the steps in that doc for the Orin Nano NX / AGX Orin case and it should get you sorted.
