Thanks for posting the full details. Based on your kernel version (5.10.104-tegra-35.2.1-20230124153320), you’re on a JetPack release that we don’t currently have a deb package for - that’s exactly why the installer is throwing ‘Cannot find the corresponding deb package.’
You’ll need to flash a supported JetPack version for the IMX477 driver. Also, on the AGX Orin the camera needs to run through the Arducam adapter board - the 12MP multi-camera kit for Jetson AGX Orin is the one to use: Arducam 12MP Multi-Camera Kit for NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin
Double-check your JetPack version against the supported list first.
Appreciate the quick reply. While I’m reflashing, one more question - would this board with the IMX477 be able to run two 4K @ 60fps streams at the same time?
It depends which exact IMX477 module you have. Arducam makes IMX477 modules with an M12 lens and with a CS lens, so the mount matters. If the other 1/2.3" sensor is also an IMX477, you might be able to remove the lens and move it over, but these lenses aren’t really designed to be user-swapped, so proceed carefully.
I’d want to confirm the exact module before saying yes or no. Can you tell me the model number of the IMX477 module you have? Also, is the other 1/2.3" sensor from Arducam or a different vendor? If you have the model numbers or product pages for both, I can check the mount specs against each other.
Here’s the full plan so it’s clearer. I’m thinking of buying the e-con Systems e-CAM121_CUOAGX, which is their 12MP Sony STARVIS IMX412 camera - it can do 4K60. The catch is it doesn’t have the motorized zoom lens that my Arducam PTZ IMX477 has, so I was hoping to move the PTZ lens over to it if it can be mounted via M12.
I went through the e-CAM121_CUOAGX datasheet and the mount drawing you attached. Unfortunately, moving the lens from the Arducam PTZ IMX477 over to the IMX412 module isn’t possible. Even taking the M12 mounting into account, the IMX412 module just isn’t compatible with that PTZ lens transfer.
So the motorized zoom lens from the PTZ IMX477 won’t work on the e-con IMX412 sensor.
