I already went through arducam_links.txt and checked the available versions of nvidia-l4t-tools, but I can’t find any compatible build of the nvidia tools. Has anyone run into this before?
Thanks for posting the kernel and board info. Based on that kernel version (4.9.337-tegra-32.7.4-20230608212426), you’re on L4T 32.7.4, and unfortunately Arducam hasn’t released the camera driver for L4T 32.7.4 yet. That’s why the install script can’t find a matching deb package for your system.
Since there’s no driver for 32.7.4 right now, the cleanest fix is to flash your Nano back to a supported JetPack/L4T version. You can check the supported versions list here:
Basically L4T 32.7.4 with kernel 4.9.337-tegra-32.7.4 isn’t supported yet, so pick one of the supported JetPack/L4T versions from that page and flash that.
Okay, I reflashed and I’m now on kernel 4.9.253-tegra-32.7.1. The dependency script gets further now, but it gets stuck later in the install with these errors:
E: Unable to locate package arducam-config-parser-dev
E: Unable to locate package arducam-usb-sdk-dev
E: Unable to locate package arducam-tof-sdk-dev
One of those packages should contain ArducamTOFCamera.hpp, which my code needs. I’ve attached the full install log for reference.
Good progress on the kernel version. Those new errors are different from before — they’re apt errors. Unable to locate package means apt can’t find the Arducam packages at all. From what you’ve described, it looks like the Arducam PPA / apt sources aren’t configured on your system, so apt has no idea where to fetch those packages from.
Then run sudo apt update and retry the dependency script. Once the Arducam apt repository is configured, apt should be able to locate arducam-config-parser-dev, arducam-usb-sdk-dev, and arducam-tof-sdk-dev.
