That error usually means the installer can’t match a driver package to the L4T/JetPack version you’re running. Can you post your kernel version and which Jetson module you have? Easiest way to get the kernel version is:
uname -r
And also confirm the board type (AGX Orin, Orin Nano, Xavier, etc.).
Thanks, that’s exactly what I needed. Your kernel string confirms you’re on L4T 36.2.0. Arducam hasn’t released a camera driver for L4T 36.2.0 yet, so there’s no matching deb package in their repo for your current JetPack version. That’s the root cause of the error - it’s not a corrupt download or anything on your end.
The workaround right now is to flash your device to one of the JetPack versions Arducam officially supports, then rerun the camera driver installer. You can find the supported version list here:
I’ve also attached a screenshot of the supported versions table from that page. Once you’re on a supported L4T version, the installer should locate the correct deb and proceed.
Appreciate the explanation. One complication: we’re building a custom Jetson image for a product that’s supposed to ship next month, and we wanted to include the Arducam driver in the build pipeline. Flashing back to an older JetPack isn’t ideal for us. Is the driver source code available anywhere so we can integrate it directly? We’re running into a bunch of issues trying to get the driver working on 36.2.0 - still getting that same ‘Cannot find the corresponding deb package’ error when we run the install script.
Understood. Just to be clear, the core issue is the same one: the Arducam deb package availability is tied to the L4T/JetPack version you’re running. On L4T 36.2.0 there’s no matching deb, so the installer throws the ‘Cannot find the corresponding deb package’ error. Matching your build to a supported JetPack version is what resolves it, which means for a product image you’d want to target one of those supported versions for now. I’ve sent you a private message about the source code - please check your messages.
