Hi everyone, I’m having some trouble with the B0460 camera module. The documentation I have shows a 31-pin layout, but when I look at the physical board, there are only 20 pins. I’ve attached a screenshot from the docs and a photo of the actual board. Can anyone clarify how the pins are actually defined on this module? Is there an updated document? I’m trying to figure out which pin corresponds to what. Thanks.
Just bumping this — has anyone had a chance to look at this? I’ve also included another reference picture that might help. Still trying to sort out the 20-pin vs 31-pin confusion on the B0460.
Thanks for the photos, that helps clarify the situation. I can see the discrepancy you’re talking about — the documentation references 31 pins but the physical B0460 board has 20. Before I dig deeper into the pin definitions, could you let me know which platform you’re planning to use this camera with? That’ll help narrow things down.
I’m planning to use it with a Raspberry Pi. That’s the target platform.
Ah, that explains part of the issue. The B0460 camera module is not compatible with Raspberry Pi, unfortunately. It’s only supported on the following platforms:
- Arduino GIGA Display Shield
- Arduino GIGA R1 WIFI Board
The B0460 was designed specifically for those Arduino GIGA-family boards, and it won’t work properly on a Raspberry Pi. That also may be why you’re finding documentation mismatches — the pinout references are tied to those specific platforms.
Okay, understood. So if I switch over and run the B0460 on the Arduino GIGA Display Shield or the Arduino GIGA R1 WIFI Board, can you still clarify the pin definitions? I’d like to know what each of the 20 pins actually does.
To be clear — there are 20 pins total on the board. I need to know the definition of each individual pin. Could you please send those over?
I’ve sent you the pin definition document for the 20-pin B0460 camera module through private message. Please check your inbox — it has the full mapping for all 20 pins with their functions labeled. Let me know if anything is unclear after you’ve had a look.
Got the attachment — that’s exactly what I needed. Thank you for the help, everything is clear now. Problem resolved!
